Foghat have released Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. today, 30 October, documenting the current band’s life on the American touring circuit. The collection brings together performances recorded in 2024 and 2025, according to the band’s official release announcement.

A live document of the band playing today
The musicians at its centre are founding drummer Roger Earl, guitarist Bryan Bassett, singer and guitarist Scott Holt, and bassist Rodney O’Quinn. It is their first live album together as this lineup, making this a snapshot of the present-day group.
The release-day video is “I Just Want to Make Love to You”, the Willie Dixon song Foghat recorded for their 1972 debut. The official video combines a live performance with archive photographs and material connected to the band’s 2023 visit to Willie Dixon’s Blues Heaven Foundation in Chicago.

Two live records and an extra chapter
The official triple-vinyl edition pairs two gold discs of live material with a red third disc containing Shaken & Stirred, the Earl & The Agitators recording. That additional record explores the blues, country and roots interests shared by the musicians, including their version of “Guess Things Happen That Way”.
Across the main live programme, the running order moves from “My Babe” and “Drivin’ On” through “Road Fever”, “It Hurts Me Too” and “Third Time Lucky”, before reaching “Sweet Home Chicago” and “I Just Want to Make Love to You”. The selections make space for the band’s blues foundations alongside material from different points in its catalogue.
Foghat’s shop explains that the concerts were recorded as the band travelled, rather than staged specifically to make a live album. For listeners, that gives the collection a straightforward premise: several American rooms and nights gathered into one release, with the chemistry of the touring group as the connecting thread. CD and digital editions are also linked from the release announcement.
