Rob Zombie has released a new video for ‘Sir Lord Acid Wolfman’, giving The Great Satan another dose of Halloween atmosphere. Unveiled on 30 October, the clip arrives just ahead of the holiday and is available through the official Nuclear Blast Records and Rob Zombie video release.
The new visual continues the campaign for Zombie’s eighth solo album, which arrived on 27 February. The record’s 15 tracks run to 38 minutes, according to its official Apple Music listing, placing ‘Sir Lord Acid Wolfman’ within a compact collection of horror-minded metal and rock.
A Halloween return to The Great Satan
In the label’s announcement, Nuclear Blast connects the video with the album’s return to Zombie’s “Hellbilly” roots. It follows a run of visuals for tracks including ‘Punks and Demons’, ‘Heathen Days’, ‘Tarantula’ and ‘Black Rat Coffin’, continuing a release campaign that began well before this week’s Halloween celebrations.
‘Sir Lord Acid Wolfman’ has also had a life beyond the album. The song appeared as the B-side to Sheri Moon Zombie’s ‘I Love My Robot’ on a limited-edition picture disc. Nuclear Blast reports that the pressing has sold out worldwide; today’s video gives listeners another way into the track without needing to find that physical edition.

Where the song fits
The album’s official tracklist places ‘Sir Lord Acid Wolfman’ seventh, immediately after ‘Black Rat Coffin’ and before ‘Punks and Demons’. The sequence opens with ‘F.T.W. 84’ and closes with ‘Grave Discontent’. The CD edition includes an O-card and a 28-page booklet.
Zombie originally marked the album’s February release with the video for ‘F.T.W. 84’. Eight months later, the latest clip brings the focus back to a different corner of the same record. Fans can watch ‘Sir Lord Acid Wolfman’ via the official link and find the full album through Zombie’s official listening and purchase page.
