A new original after a long interval
“Enemy X” is available now with a lyric video. Released on 30 October, it is SOiL’s first new original material since Whole, released in 2013. The band have continued to release music in the intervening years, including the covers collection Play It Forward.
Bassist Tim King describes the new song as a response to conflict, blame and the way negativity can harden into hatred. His explanation in the label announcement asks listeners to turn some of that scrutiny inward. The subject gives “Enemy X” a direct point of view as well as introducing the band’s next label partnership.

New music meets the touring band
The announced lineup is singer Ryan McCombs, bassist King, guitarist Adam Zadel and drummer TJ Taylor. SOiL are also touring the UK with Finger Eleven, with the itinerary beginning in Brighton on 30 October and continuing through Wolverhampton and Hull over the weekend.
The label’s tour listing carries the full sequence of dates.
For listeners returning through songs such as “Halo” or “Unreal”, the new single is the immediate place to hear this chapter begin. The 2027 album is the next stated step, while “Enemy X” and its official lyric video provide the first material to explore now.
