The nominees for the 69th Grammy Awards will be announced on Monday, November 16, 2026. The Recording Academy’s viewing guide lists a 4:45 a.m. Pacific / 7:45 a.m. Eastern start, with the announcement streaming on Grammy.com and the organization’s official YouTube channel.
That is the nominations announcement, rather than the awards ceremony. The 2027 Grammys are scheduled for February 7 in Los Angeles, with ABC, Disney+ and Hulu carrying the broadcast.
The next dates on the calendar
- November 16, 2026: nominations are announced.
- December 10, 2026–January 7, 2027: the Academy’s final voting period.
- February 7, 2027: the awards ceremony.
For listeners, the nomination list offers more than a prediction exercise. Credits can introduce the writers, producers, engineers and collaborators around familiar artist names. Following those credits is one route into records that may otherwise sit outside a personal listening routine.
Recognition is not one single question
The Academy says five new categories will debut for 2027, including Best Asian Pop Music Performance and Best Latin Song. Their separate titles are a reminder to read what a category recognizes: a song, a recording, an album and an individual contribution are not interchangeable achievements.
Once nominations are published, comparing those different forms of recognition can make a listening project more interesting than simply counting how often a star’s name appears. A songwriter’s contribution and a featured vocal performance may lead toward different parts of the same release.
The Academy’s complete list will be the reference when the announcement takes place. Until then, this is a calendar guide rather than a list of confirmed nominees or predicted winners.
