Over the years mirrors have been incorporated in houses in many different ways. Apart from the usual mirror frames in the bathrooms and dressers, they have been used as mirror walls, mirror separators, etc. Even among them one of the unique ways to use them is to incorporate them in the furniture. The most common one among all the furniture is the mirrored desk. A simple desk made of any material, has mirror incorporated in it, mostly on the top and sometimes on the sides and the drawers too. Let’s see how these desks could be put to use.
Dressers – The first and the primary usage of such a mirrored desk is to use them along with the mirrors on the wall, as dressers. They form the perfect combo there, and are found mostly being used in such a way. The reflections from the mirror on the wall and the desk form a unique immersive view, which works best for one to dress up.
Writing Desk – Compared to the dresses, the use of the mirrored desk in the form writing desk is relatively less. Such desks are generally made of wood and have mirrors incorporated on all the sides, including the drawers. They could be quite expensive. One needs to be careful with this desk as the mirror on top could chip off easily.
Lobby Desks – The best application for a mirrored desk is to use them in the lobbies or the displays as the display desk. Especially in art galleries when one needs to display a piece of art, these desks could be perfect to place them on. This way they have minimal traffic, by which they cannot be damaged and do not result in injuries.
